Regular events at the bridge
We meet at 4pm every Sunday for an informal service with Sunday school & creche. It lasts about an hour and a half. There's time to chat and pray through what we've heard about Jesus, and the struggles of our lives too. Each week there is hot food provided for all ages after the service.
Every Monday night at 7.30pm women meet to exercise with the help of various fitness DVD’s on a big screen. Come and meet local women and get fit! For more info contact Sarah.
Soup and Scrolls
A chance to meet other local men and women over soup and bread on Tuesdays from 12:30pm. We look together at what the bible has to say about life today. For more info contact Martin
On all the other Wednesdays of the month we meet in a local home at 7.30pm to eat and chat together then look at the bible. The meetings are informal, and anyone is welcome. E-mail Jason if you'd like to come along.
Seniors Lunch Club
On the 2nd Wednesday of each month we put on a lunch for members of the local community who are over 60. It is a great time to chat with people, build relationships, eat food together and have a look at the bible between courses. E-mail Rebekah for more info.
Souper Seniors is for senior members of the community to be able to have a look at the Bible for themselves - perhaps for the first time - and see how it's good news connects with the things we're going through. We start at 12.30pm with soup and rolls and friendly conversation before opening up the Bible together and discussing our understanding of it, finishing at 2.30pm. It's particularly for people who've come to Seniors Lunch Club the week before, but everyone is welcome! Every third Wednesday of the month. E-mail Rebekah for more info.
Our toddler group runs Thursdays 10-11.30am during term time. There is lots of fun to be had with toys, a singing time, a Bible story and snacks. Coffee and cakes for parents and carers! The cost is £1 per family. You can E-mail Rachel for more info.
Women's Bible Study
A chance for women to dig deeper into the bible on Thursdays at 1.00-2.00pm. Great for all women and particularly those who find childcare difficult to arrange in the evenings. E-mail Rachel if you'd like to join us.
Pie night is a monthly social event for local men. Enjoy free food and drink, pool, darts, table tennis, Wii from 7pm, and get to know people from the local community. E-mail Martin to find out when our next Pie Night is.
"Rise" exists to nurture and develop the leadership potential of young African and Caribbean males, empowering them to become the next generation of successful leaders. We provide free educational and emotional support for boys aged 11-16. We deliver this through after school tutorial time on Fridays, individual mentoring and encouraging a family support network. On the last Friday of each month, from 6.30-8pm, we run The Dangerous Club for Boys and Girls years 4 -6 (Ages 8-12). Enjoy basketball, Wii and pool, a 5-minute talk on the life of Jesus and great interactive group games. There are also more sedate options for those who would prefer, and it's totally free! An opportunity for 13-16 year olds to have a bite to eat, play games and learn about the Bible. We meet from 6:30-8pm every Friday evening during term time - contact Zim for more details
A chance on a Saturday once a term to enjoy a cooked breakfast alongside a chance to go deeper into one aspect of the Christian faith. E-mail Jason to find out when the next breakfast is.

Forum for Better Understanding
The Forum for a Better Understanding exists to encourage open and honest dialogue and friendship between different faith groups. We have a particular emphasis on Islam and Christianity. Both the Bridge and Falcon Road Islamic Cultural Centre have hosted dialogue evenings on topics such as “Hope” and “Spirituality” in Christianity and Islam.
A special course that explores the basics of biblical Christianity over a few sessions. We are able to run this both individually or in groups, for men or women at a time and place that suits you. A chance for you to share your views and questions. E-mail Martin
